Default 93 Camaro v6 wont turn over, no dash lights

Ok guys first time Camaro owner here, its a 93 V6 and it stopped turning over one morning. When I put in the key and turn the gauges kinda flicker just a tad but nothing lights up, no turn over, headlights won't light up, horn doesn't work, but my interior light does work so its not the battery. I think it might be the ignition switch so I'm trying that out but does it maybe sound like a short somewhere? All fuses are good, I checked those.

Thanks!

First thing first. Check your battery terminals. Its getting power. And the flickering means it may not be getting enough juice to turn the starter. Corroded or dirty battery terminals will make this happen. Also the battery could be dead. Clean it and try it again. If nothing take your battery in to get tested. Autozone does the testing for free.

Ok update: battery only had enough juice to power the ceiling light. Got it charging now. Any idea why it drained? Maybe bad wiring somewhere?

I'd check to see if you have any lights staying on or with the key off start proding fuses to see if theres current flowing. that'll show you where your drain is.

I highly recommend taking that battery to autozone or a similar parts store for a free load test. This will determine if your battery needs to be replaced or not.
