Cool Z28 to SS wheels

Hello all, I am new to this site and have never been on a forum before, so this is new to me. I have what I think is a z28, but I don't know because it was a police car and has no makings whatsoever. Its a 35th anniversary addition. I want to put on 275 wide tires like the SS has, but I do not know if they will fit. Will they fit? the 245's that are on there now are already really close to the bump stops. Also it runs a 13.2 quarter.... thats a second faster than stock right? I have no IDEA what has been put into it. If anyone can answer my question that would be great!

The B4C's were pretty much Z28's with some handling/structural differences that I don't quite recall.

The 275 tires will fit. I went from 245 to 275 tires on all four corners. The B4C cars also got taller rear end gears if they were automatics and I believe that they got the 1LE suspension package.

Here's a little brochure that I found. The wheels and tires will fit. My old wheels were 245 and now I've got 275.

Yep! Those are the same rims and exhaust I have on mine. LOL. But mine doesn't have a cool paint job like that though. You really seem to know quite a bit. I will have to make sure to find you again if I run into something.

From what I understand, the B4C (police package) was an SS in every way except it was not sent to SLP for the modifications. GM did the mods as the car was built. You should have 335HP heavier springs and sway bars. Everything else on the car should be base model trim, cloth seats and maybe power locks and windows.

Iv seen 2 police package cars one had nothing the dealer that was selling it listed options like side door storage bins which made me lagh, and the other had leather seats power windows and locks but I don't know if he put all that on himself from a totaled car, and im pretty sure all the police cars got a tune from the factory as well
