Okay I've benn wondering for years........

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN LT1 AND AN LS1????????

IS IT JUST PUT IN DIFFERENT YEARS OF CAMAROS??????

It's a toatlly different engine. The LS1 (which is really a 346) is also known as the Gen III small block, it is all aluminium, has the best flowing heads GM has ever put in a production car (until the LS6,LS2 and LS7 came along), and a ton of other improvments. The LT1 is still a good engine, it just is based on the old 350 SBC
