I am looking at buying a new camaro and I would like to know how I can tell from popping the hood if it is a lt1 or ls1?

 

LT1 camaro




LS1 Camaro



also, the LS1 has a plastic intake that looks like so
also, on the ls1 the alternator is on the bottom side of the motor.


the lt1 hasa metal intake manifold like so
also notice here how the alternator is off the the left of the motor up top.

 

Yeah +1the headlights are a dead-give away outside, under the hood the intake manifold....
