Ticking noise

Hi Guys, I have an 01 SS and it sounds like maybe lifters or rockers. The ticking increases when RPM's go up. It there any way the rockers could have loosened up? Help, Curtis

are u sure its not an exhaust leak? how many miles on the motor? what wt of oil are u useing?
