Ok so my friend has a Vauxhall Monaro (aka pontiac GTO) and we have just made a custon 2.5 inch true dual system, which sound awesome and tuckes under the car nice and goes over rear drive shafts, (quite tuned v8 sound)

ANYWAYs, i just have a single 3" cat back on the 'maro which sounds nice, but would be better with 3" trues and im getting some 3" exit long tubes also, thing is it is lowered and there is absolutly no way i can run the two pipes over the axle at the same side without banging. Now i saw a video on youtube of a trans am with 3" under the axle (i dont wanna dump as its not legal in UK) Do any of you have this set up and do you have any problems with under the axle pipes. If there is an issue ill run from headers to a Y pipe into a 4" up, over axle and out back. Any ideas??

 

The only problem I can see is that it's going to have almost no ground clearance. Especially because you're lowered. :P
