stock tranny...input please

i am rebuilding my motor and planning on having around 550-600 hp. im not sure how much power the stock 6-speed tranny can hold. can anyone help me out here?

6 speeds are pretty good and can hold quite a bit, at a guess I'd say I would put money into it yet until it breaks, you'll defo need a clutch , ls7 once usually good upgrade
