Default Problem with suspension/alignment/something else?

I have been noticing lately that my 2000 z28 seems to want to get a little squirrelly in overdrive when I get into or out of the gas. I jacked it up and checked all the bolts on the rear suspension components, lugs, torque arm, etc, and they seemed to all be tight. I don't think its out of alignment, because it seems to be fine until it gets around 60 or 70. Any other ideas of what I could check before I give in and have someone else look at it?

Also, I have no idea what shocks my car came with. The shocks and rear control arms are all orange (still have stickers and notices on them, so assume not repainted, but no manufacturer labels). Anyone have any ideas on what they are?

The stock shock on the Z28 was the DeCarbon brand, and it was orange color. This was a pretty good shock, but expensive. As far as I know, only GM dealers sold them. You may want to also check the lower control arm bushings, front end components, and the torque arm mount on the transmission tail shaft. Another thing could be a bad posi unit that allows one wheel to slip and then suddently lock up.

Actually Strano Parts (who is supposedly a suspension specialist) says the DeCarbons are pretty poor... DeCarbon seems to be out of business last I checked.
