Whats up I justed purchased a '98 Camaro and I need a little help!!! I just need a few suggestions on where to start enhancing. Right now everything is stock and I needed to know how i could get more power out of the car without spending a whole lot of money.....I am in college, enough said!!!

 

I just bought an 02 SS so I'm on the same feild as you but I know a good bit about these cars to mod them cheap. First off your going to want to get more air in the car a good lid like the K&N set up wount steer you wrong, you can pick one of those up for around $350. Then you might want to invest in an exhaust FYI don't get the flowmasters they ruin power gains for the LS1 they tend to restric flow despite the name but if you don't want to spend the extra 4-500 dollars for it then go with an exhaust cutout perferably the electronic ones that way you can flip it on and off while in the cab plus it sounds really mean!!!!!!! Together this adds around 30 hps to the wheels and it wont break your budget.
