Do you mean cold air induction and filter assembly or are you planning to replace the intake manifold?

since it's basicly stock i would get an LS6 intake, you can find a used one pretty cheap.

Would an ls6 intake require me to change out my throttle body?

No, an LS6 intake manifold would not require you to change the throttle body, but will require you to relocate the EGR. There is a kit for that, I think in Ecklers and JEGS and Thunder Racing catelogs. Note that it will only add about 5 HP. But they are rather inexpensive - you can pick them up used from people switching out to even better manifolds (I sold mine for something like, maybe $75 bucks or something)(, and it a good honest 5 HP gain (that's where the 5 extra HP the Z28 went to in its last couple of years came from).

A FAST manifold will add a bit more - they make manifolds in two sizes of inlet, the smaller diameter throttle inlet does not require a new throttle body and is best for engines that are not heavily modified -- use the 90 mm only when you start getting to about 425 RWHP and up. It will probably add about 10-12 HP.

Note that some aftermarket metal manifolds are essentially a metal version of the LS6 manifold, even though they cost a lot. They cost a lot but the only advantage over the plastic Chevy LS6 manifold is that you can polish it so it is shiny, and since it is metal you can pressurize the hell out of it with 30+ lbs of boost and (the plastic pops up at around 18-20 lbs sometimes).
