hey guys what good will it do if you put an ls6 intake manifold on an ss
will it produce more power than stock....and will it fir directly or no? thanks

 

If you have an 01 or 02 then you already have the LS6 manifold but if you dont then yea you will get around 10 HP

 

of course it makes more power, thats why i put it on your list of bolt-ons

i've never put an intake on but im pretty sure it fits right on, but you may need some other parts to go with it. im not reallly sure cuz ive never researched that

 

You will need the LS6 coolant crossover tubes for the front and back, otherwise it bolts right on. You might also want to check out the Typhoon intake, it gives more power than the LS6 and costs around $400 and even comes with new fuel rails.

 

or go all out an get a lsx fast 90mm intake manifold, but u will need the throttle body to so its expensive but the bigest u can get!

 

THe Fast 90/90 will not be of any benifit to him unless he does a big cam and heads. LS6's are good for 450+ RWHP.
