Default High Idle

I just bought a 2000 SS and I was just wondering if the dang car is supposed to be idled up so high. I'm sorry if this is a stupid question but my 68ss doesn't even idle that high

How high is it? Your TPS voltage may be off. Do you have any mods?

lets see, how do i explain? When i'm idling in park and just give it a little rev and let off, it feels almost like the throttles stickin. And no the car has no mods.

Does it only do it when you rev it, or is it always high? Also, does it eventually come back to normal? I would try revving it from under the hood and seeing if the throttle does stick open.

Agreed, either the throttle and or linkage is sticking. or the TPS went south. Are you getting a check engine lite?

Well if the light is on, get it scanned and you will know what code/codes you are throwing.
