Hi there everyone I own a 94 Camaro and the idle is really high on it,does anyone know what would be making it that way I am told that it cant be adjusted and it is frustrating me ...thanks Kim

 

could have a vaccum leak or stuck idle air control valve, is your check engine light on?

 

Remove your air cleaner tube so that you can see right into the throttle body. With the engine running, look for the air bypass hole/slot that's right in front of the butterfly, and cover it with your finger. If your idle settles back down, your idle air control is the cause.

 

what engine? did it happen all at once?
