I have a 93 Z28 with the LT1 engine. I was coming home the other day and as it shifted through the gears and I took my foot off the gas the car kept pulling. I got the car pulled over and stopped and when I took it out of gear the rpms went up like the throttle was stuck. I've looked at the throttle cables and they are working fine so I replaced the throttle position sensor. It still goes to 4000 rpms when u start it. Any ideas on what it could be?

 

check for a vacumm hose off. can you hear air sucking, follow it. could just be a hose came off like the power brake vacumm hose. take the air intake off the throttle body and make sure the butterflies are closing.
