Exhaust
I'm new to this site and I have a 2000 SS and I want to get an exhaust for it but I don't know what kind I want. I've looked at the Corsa Powerpulse, Borla, and GMMG. Does anyone have any good reviews on the Corsa and GMMG? I know alot of people w/ Borla love it and wouldn't change it for anything but I'm not sure which 1 I want to go w/. And by the way the SS is stock except for SLP lid and SPEC stage 3 clutch.
Don't know whay you exactly mean by "getting an exhaust", but from the cat back the SS exhaust is as good as it gets, and you will just be wasting time and money by changing it. You may want to change the muffler for a differnt sound. It will halp power if you put in long tube headers, but then you have to deal with grond clearance as the SS is set up a little closer to the ground than a regular Z28.
Basically, with the SS model, all of the easy mods have been put in by the factory. Including the air intake, which in addition to bringing in cold air from the aoutside, it also adds a little ram effect at very high speeds. Your car is almost ready for major surgery, if you want more power.

You already have as good as a cat back as you can get, and a cat back inludes the muffler. However if you are dead set in spending money, go with the Borla as it includes a muffler bypass.
