Default clunk sound?

I have an 02 ss camaro automatic, 66,000km on it. I have noticed lately that when I am in drive(not overdrive) and I am going slow like lets say thru a parking lot and I let off the gas it will make a clunk sound as if it is clunking into a different gear. What could this be? It is not super loud but definately loud enough to cause concern.

Clunking from where? The rear end, the transmission, the engine?

More than likely it is from the LSD in the rear end locking and unlocking as you take your foot off the gas.

Its hard to tell but it does kind of sound like its coming from the rear end. Now does this mean something is failing or is it normal? Thanks.
