I got a 98 z28 and lets say i had a ball with spark plugs. Most of the plugs i was able to get from the top, but the rear passenger side plug was another story. I got it from under the car. Such a pain in the ***. Wires sucked too. All said in done practice makes it easier for later dates. Have fun and yeh, bandaids are a good idea.

 

what is the best way to get those pesky pass side plug wires off i can't seem to get them off by hand. im kinda thinking that a long set of needle nose pliers would help. the driver side were gravy. and im sure the rear pass plugs i'll have to get from under the car.

 

good luck id do the driver side first to build up your ego.lol. then go for the passenger. first two are easy but had to take cats off to get to the last to on my 02 z28

 

Tip for puttin plugs back in. Use a piece of rubber vacume hose on the end of the plug to get it started. Final tork with socket.

 

Try a Gearwrench pass through ratchet and pass through socket that fits the plugs. Won't have to buy all that beer to get the job done.
