Default Changing Spark Plugs

So I bought some NGK G-Power spark plugs for my Camaro only to find out that I cant get the old ones out. There are three nuts on the underside of the plate where the spark plugs are mounted. I cant get to the farthest nut to get the plate out to get to the spark plugs. Anyone else been through this with their 3.4?

Not on a 3.4 but it is a PITA on the 3.8's as well.

This is what I'm talking about. The red ones were easy to get out. The yellow one however, I can't seem to get to for the love of me...

Raise the car and go from the bottom, thats the only way I was able to get the plugs in the 3.8. It looks like what is in the way of you getting out the bolt is the power steering pump, (I'm not that familiar with under the hood of the 3.4) if it is and it is like the ones on the 3.8, it just lifts up off the bracket that is holding it in place. Check to see if you can lift up on it and move it out the way.

Well I feel like a complete dumb a** now... The thing I just took apart isn't the spark plugs. It's the OTHER end off the plug wires (coil pack)... And I just took the whole damn thing apart. Lovely. Time to put it back together now. However, if anyone has a good idea on how to change spark plugs in a 3.4, let me know

I was just under the hood of my friend's Camaro with a 3.4L and it looks like you just need to unplug the wires and use a plug socket to pull them all out. Driver's side easy and pass side a little harder but not like the other engines.

Is that the coil paks in the pic where the screws are? I thought that was something that was in the way of you getting your arm down in to where the plugs actually screw in the block.

It looked intimidating to be honest. The plugs are way in little crevasses that are a pain in the *** to get to...

Yes that's the coil pack and yes I'm a dumb a**. I thought those were the spark plugs because all I saw was plug wires going into it. I didn't know that plugs went into the block.. Smack me via comment if you like.

Own an LT1 or LS1 then talk to me about being a pain in the a$s. The LT1 you pretty much need to get to all of them from underneath the LS1 you can get to all but #8 from the top, but not all are easy to get to.
