2000 z28 shifter **** question...

i believe my car has a hurst shifter stock.. i like the look of the black round ball type shifter ***** and was wondering what would fit on my shifter and also how do i take off the old one properly....

It unscrews,

anything with a 16mm x 1.5 thread
