I have a 2001 Camaro V6 with manual 5-speed. Right now, I have a black ball on top of the shifter. The stock ball. I want something nicer.

Does anyone know of a black ball **** with the 5-speed embossed in a white letters and pattern?? Brand?? It must screw on top the stock shifter.

My shifter **** came today from the link posted above this one. It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Made me clean the whole interior and wash the car.

The only concern I had when the **** arrived was "how do you align it and keep it straight"?? No problems. As I screwed the **** on, it got tighter and tighter. Finally, when it was secured enough, it was perfectly aligned. Stayed that way after a short drive.

The stock **** look like the threads were part of the ball itself. This new **** had a machined brass insert so stripping the threads won't happen.

 

Got any pics? Im sure people would like to see for future reference. My **** in my 69 moves around a little bit, but not when I drive around normally, just when Im rowing through the 4 on the floor
