1999 Camaro with v6 to LS?
Hello All, I have a 2005 5.3 V8 out of a Silverado that I was going to put in an 87 T/A. i am now rethinking and may get a 99 Camaro with a V6 and swap the motor. my question is, will the 4 speed mate to the V8? i am guessing no but want to double check... also i saw a 5 speed 99 Camaro with a V6 and I know the trans will not work with the V8 but will the clutch system work with T56? Thank you All

No the V6 trans will not work with a V8, Different bolt pattern.
No part of the T5 clutch system will work on a T56, its a completely different release system and different size.
Go back to your original plan. For the 99 you need a v8 frame and custom wiring harnesses to get anything to work on the inside.
He over to the V6 section there is a V6 to V8 thread, at the end of that there is a link to someone who did, you can see what all is involved.
