yea i have a 1996 pontiac trans am gt i was woundering if a 1998 chevy camaro/pontiac firebird moter fit in my car, if not would the 1997 lt1 fit please let me know

i want to put it inb my car, and up grade everything, if possible i found a really good deal on the engine

 

it can be done, just search net i think gm tech or some one lists what is easiest. only thing in with year difference you ned to change everything. engine, wiring, brakes, fuel sender/tank, axle/diff etc. if you have skills then go for it but would be expensive if not
