Default 1979 Pontiac Firebird Formula

Ok so I know this isnt a firebird forum but I wanted to post this here as well to get your fine folks insights as well...

Ok folks so I bought a 1979 Firebird Formula about 4 nights ago now for 3400 Bucks (was asking 4K). It has the 6.6L (403 Olds Motor) and the Automatic Tranny. From what we could tell (The guy I bought it from didn't do any work to it so it has to be prior to that) the car hasn't been modified all that much, did have some cam work done to it, a set of headers (Cant tell what kind but judging on the condition they are in, maybe 7 - 10 years old) and the 3:73 Posi Rear put in to it. Other than that it is bone stock. It does have the T-Tops that don't leak (thank goodness!) and a nice set of Cobra Tires and Centerline wheels. Attached below are some pictures.

I am also going to include a list of things I need to do to it before this "project" is finished. Some of the things on this list I knew I would have to do before I bought it... and some came up while doing a brake line job to it.

1. Body work and Paint Job. Has only 2 minor surface rust areas and 1 small rust hole. Also Chrome/Metal Trim can use some dressing up.
2. Interior: Replace Bucket Seats as they both are either ripped OR the foam is really in bad shape.
3. Interior: Dress up the dash a little bit and add a Tachometer.
4. Pinion Seal, Both Rear Axle Seals, Heater core, and brake line (1 rear) needs to be replaced
5. Due to someone trying to break into the vehicle one door needs a new lock installed as well as a handle (passenger side) as the lock was drilled out and the ******bag almost broke the handle in half.
6. Realign door hinges and the catch stick so the doors properly open and close, then after that remove the added diamond plated sill plate from the door jam because last owner... was a moron.
7. Both Door panels could use a replacement, 30 years of being beaten up can do some damage.
8. Interior: Rear Quarter TRIM panels are heavily worn as well, replace!
9. Change out TAPE deck and install a Basic CD Player Head unit and a nice set of tunes
10. CAR ALARM INSTALL!
11. Pull the motor and rebuild it. The car itself has 104K miles on it and not sure how many the motor truly has! Rebuild it and toughen up the bottom end as well as some new rods, cam, and headers (just to do it)

Other than that, I really cant think of much else to do.. lol so here are some pics.
