Hows it going everyone? My friend and i picked up a 02 ss last night and the car is flawless only 23k on it no scratches it was a weekend warrior, but there is one problem. It does not want to go into 5th gear. The only way to get it in is while its wot you have to slam it in and keep pressure on the the shifter till you release the clutch. and this doesnt always work. the owner told us this after the purchase[:@]and says it started after he installed the sts. so does anyone know what the hell is up with it? thanks

p.s. i think it might be the synchros or shift fork but idk

 

btw it only costed 16,500$

 

Syncos or blocker rings or fork. Why did you not find this during the test drive?
