Default Wrapping pipe around Cat?

If I have an exhaust leak right next to the cat and had it welded but is still ticking, could I use header wrap around the piping there? Would that be a short term fix or am I looking at more severe problems in the near future?

Serious problem could be a exhaust leak into the inerior of the car. I would think that would be a serious problem. Fix it the correct way.

If you paid to have it fixed and its still leaking, um.....bring it back. If it has started leaking again, maybe you have a bad motor mount that is causing the Y pipe to twist during take off or acceleration causing flex on your Y pipe and CAT.
