Cool Thottle Body Vacuum Hose Question!

Hey guys hows it going? Long time no see! Anyways, I was helping a buddy of mine swap a LS1 out of an actual Vette into his S10. When we had the engine out I noticed there were two Vacuum hose connections on his T/B. I never knew they existed so I quickly popped my hood and looked to see if mine has them. It does, my question is, On the Passenger side vacuum connection it is plugged, on the driver side it is open. Are these important and if so where do they go? What are they for?
Thanks guys!

If it's a hose than I have no idea broseph, If it's an electrical connection (like purplish) it was made by GM for universal purposes but serves no purpose in alot of the Camaro models they made. (It's under/next to the fuse relay box) If you posted up a pic we could help out a little more

Btw, your camaro looks EXACTLY like mine. Silver, rally fender stripes, and black rims ;P Mine has the bottom of the hatch blacked out though

They are definitely for vacuum hoses. I'll take a pic tomorrow! Btw, I painted mine myself while I was in college. I think I have a pic thread with before and after up on here somewhere. If you want to see the process check that out!
