Default question about changing headers

Ok, well I searched and didnt come up with anything for the 95-97 lt1 camaros, I just totaled my s10 lowrider truck and now im getting a z28 and was wanting to know how hard it was for some of you to changed the headers? I have seen how the engine compartment is tighter then an 18 year old virgin but i'm sure some of you have done it and it was trial and error and found shortcuts. also recomended headers? im gonna be getting a borla cat-back exhaust as well would also like to know anybodys opinions on different cams good ones? I was lookin at the lt4 hot cam kit and didnt know how much better it was

Default RE: question about changing headers

funny you ask, I just finished putting in my long tube headers this weekend. As far as installation, you'll need to remove the starter, alternator, and unbolt the front 2 engine mounts and jack up the engine. That's all for the passanger side, if you have all of that done, the drivers side headers will go in rediculously easy(or it will seem like it compared to the passanger). I personally got Kooks headers, they are all stainless, have a high flow collector, and you have the option of getting the A.I.R. and the EGR hookups on them so your car is still emissions friendly. I also advise that you have a friend come over to help you...
