Question about 1999 Camaro sound?
Hello, this is my first post. I own a 1999 V6 Camaro and Im happy where I can finally find people with the same exact car as me.
Currently I have a K&N cold air intake, exhaust catback, flowmaster muffler, and dual tailpipes.
-here is the question. I just bought a set of pacesetter headers and wanted to know how I could go about my catalytic converter. I live in an emissions state, but have a friend that could pass me.
-I dont mind getting a noise ticket, but to be safe from the cops here in NYC, I was thinking about hollowing out my cat. The exhaust shop said that they would do that for me whern they put the headers in.
-What did you guys do to keep the check engine light off. I heard of many things, but I would like to know what owners of the Camaro actually did and actually worked.
thank you, Tommaso
