Default long tube headers

so i was informed that i cant put a set of long tube headers on my 89 camaro cuz of clearnce issues and i have never heard of not being able to not just swap them and the y pipe out...
so my question is this possible to have them?
and has anyone had problems with this?

well ive never really owned a 3rd gen for more that 4 hours lol, long story, but it can be done, yes ive heard of having clearance problems cause 3rd gens sit lower than 4th gens, but it is possible. You might want to ask in the 3rd gen section, probably will get a better responce from guys who have more experience with those years.

well all these cars have clearance issues when you put long tubes on it, you just have to be careful, and go slow over bumps and dips
