hey, so i have a whole intake system that i built for a expedition and i was wondering if any one has built there own intake for a V6 3800 series... i know i can do it i was just wondering if some one has done it and wer the routed the cone to...

 

I have a 94 3.4 V6 that i did my own intake setup on. I bought a CAI kit for like ten bucks off of this dude I used to go to scool with. and I am pretty satisfied with my setup. I'm not sure what the engine bay for a 98 and up looks like but i ran my down the drivers side of the engine and there is a hole cut out (from the factory) that i ran the intake all the way down. i would say mine is actually getting cold air unlike some that are in the hot engine bay. I haven't had any trouble with water or anything
