Intake Manifold: Is aftermarket worth it?
I'm finally getting back to my 350 rebuild which is now long overdue, but I want to make sure I am getting the best performance for the buck. My old engine is a TBI and I plan on keeping my replacement engine the same for simplicity sake and I hear the TPI can be restrictive on the 350. Anyway, what I want to know is should I just use my stock intake manifold or go aftermarket for it? This is pretty much the only aftermarket TBI intake manifold that I have come across that is also legal for street use out here in California. http://spideraccessories.stores.yaho...rtbiinmae.html So for the money that it costs, is the improvement worth it in your opinion?
Keep an eye on ebay for one.
This one has a few days to go yet but is only at $75 so far.
