Ok, so I know the intakes on Ebay are off brands, but what really is the difference between a $50 intake on ebay, and a $250 SLP CAI?? They both have the basic form of a cone, and a straight pipe, which both do the same thing. Friends have bought some from ebay and said they were fine, but wut REALLY is the difference?

 

Go for it you can sell a aluminum intake for $50.00 any day you want . Make sure you us anti seize on bolts for thermostat so they dont seize when you put the housing on

 

Sorry I did not read your letter right the first time .I keep forgeting that these new fangeled cars call the piece of irragation pipe feeding from air filter a "intake" not a true intake manifold like the good old days still seems like just a pipe to me as long as it is a low restriction piece how can you go wrong
