Default Hood Clearance with RPM Air Gap Performer

Hi guys. Just bought a 69 Camaro SS 350. It has the SS hood with the the chrome hood louvers on top (no cowl induction). I am looking at upgrading the intake manifold to an Edelbrock RPM Air Gap Performer with either holley or edelbrock carbs. Anybody run intohood clearance issues with this manifold? Can you recommend an air cleaner or will the stock snorkel-type one work ok? Thanks!

Might not be much help cuz I've got a 77 but I did run into clearance issues with the Air Gap intake. I'm using a dropped air cleaner and still don't have enough room.

Hi guys. I tried it and the manifold fit fine using an aftermarket air cleaner.
