Default 4 bbl Carb to stock hood clearance

I have a 1971 Camaro with a stock hood on it.
I pulled my 350 engine, rebuilt it and am converting the carb from a 2bbl stock to a 4bbl Edelbrock 600cfm performer series Model# 1405 setup.
I would like to know if I am going to have carb to hood clearance problems ?
I think I will be ok but wanted to ask someone who probably alreadyhas done this or has this?

i j ust put a 350 in my 79. it mostly depends what manifold. if you get a high rise, yeah your gunna have problems. but you can buy a cowl induction hood like i did, they have steel and fiberglass ones, and you can get a 2 inch rise or even up to 4 or 6 i think.

you should be alright if you still have the stock manifold on it but just in case we are wrong be sure to leave the air cleaner stud out untill you are sure you have plenty of clearance.

The 70 1/2 LT-1's came with the factory high rise dual plane intake and Holley 750DP. They don't have hood clearance issues.

RM

EDIT: Actually now that I think of it, they came with a 750 Vac Sec.
