Default headers and exhuast questions.

Hey, i have a 1987 camaro z28 with a 305. i have a competion series afb carter carb on her(4barrel) and high performance ignition. i bought myself some headers and i was wondering, after i get the headers on bymyself(im only 15 and still learning about cars) the lordco guy said that the exhaust wouldent just bolt back onto the headers and be done with, he said ill have to take her to the muffler shop and get them to worksomething out for about 100bucks, now im just wondering, after i get the headers on, would it be stupid not to get some kind of nice exhaust going? or just stay with the stock exhaust pipes and mufflers? or should i wait b4 spending 100 dollars and save up for a catback and some magna flow mufflers? tell me what you would do if you were in my situation and you dident need to drive the car for 1 year, therfore being able to wait for money for better exhaust.
thanks.

I would wait. No point in doing it twice if you plan a new exhaust anyways.

just wait. for a little more you can get a full exhaust done. plus it would be fun taking your exhaust off and driving open headers to the muffler shop =)
