Default headers on an 89 camaro

alright, i got a RS 305 V8 TBI 1989 camaro. i mean i love the car and all... the engine is just so damn quiet, i mean i put a flowmaster on it and that made the REAR of the car sound good, i just want it to sound nice under the hood. to my understanding it will improve the sound drastically. soo, with my car itd be a very tight fit and since its so low to the ground im not positive if there will be enough clearence for headers, ya know? like if i hit a bump ill nail my headers or something. i dont really know. if anyone has done this before or has a lot of experience with exhaust, could i get some advice.

thanks

Edelbrock TES headers. Emissions legal.

A header is a header. Header alone will probably net you 5hp+ but no more than 10. But if you have a full exhaust system with bbk performance parts, with mandrel bends all throughout maybe your gain in torque from a good header will be beneficial. Im no exhaust expert, but this is just coming from experience, take it as it is.
