Does anyone have an exhaust cut out?
the SLP LM1s don't have a traditional"muffler" either. they have a resonator, its basically just pipe
i do know the hollow sound your talking about, kinda like its under water, but i don't mind it.

I got Loudmouths on mine and 2 cutouts on my Y-pipe. In my opinion they only sound good above 2000rpm but sound great @ WOT. According to my dyno results they made no difference on HP, I guess cause my exhaust is already free flowing.
Cutouts are more for cars that need a restrictive exhaust, like the older muscle car's or the mid 70's with all those small pipes. Go with a good catback and a set of magna flows.
Thanks gellas for the info. I want to get a borla exhaust set up. I was just thinking of a cut out because I do want to midfy the engine and I want people to know I got a good engine, when I want them to know. And just have a nice muffled sound I want to lurk on the lil ponies we know as mustangs.
Good idea?

Well, if you want to go Borla that'll be fine. You can change out the restrictor plate in the muffler to get a sound(and consequently flow) anywhere from stock to "pull me over"
