They sound like glass-packs...so if that's the sound you're going for...
If you're looking for something louder I recommend something like my setup (of course I think it's the best!), you don't blow the packing out of the resonator tips like you do glass packs.

Chop off the muffler, install a "Y-pipe" (you'll need a muffler shop to do it, or you can if you have a welder and a pipe bender) in the back and toss on 2 resonator tips of your choosing, voila. It's not quite as sharp with stock exhaust manifolds, but it still sounds mean.

Slvr, I did basically the same thing with resonator tips to my 96 that I had a few years ago. But I put in a "t" pipe in place of the muffler instead. Got a couple of compliments on the road with"whose exhaust do you have" questions. I did the same thing to my current 91, but no resonator tips.
Oh, and Cherry Bomb Extreme's aren't glasspacks. They're a short, baffled muffler. There's not much inside them, so it's gonna be loud as your only muffler.
