Default Catalytic Converter

Whats up everyone, so my problem is the catalytic converter. The check engine light is on and the code that comes up is p0430. They gave me a part number which is 612106LB, but that's not the one I have to use. They told me its the passenger side, but then she also said IT CAN BE THE DRIVER SIDE ALSO which makes it more confusing and I believe they said bank 2. I'm from California and everything I looked up is not legal here. What do you guys think I should go with just to get the problem fixed and not spend to much.

when i went in to get my muffler i was talkin to the shop owner about getting a "high flow cat" he told me that there isnt such a monster... that magnaflow was actually sued because of that. so they changed the name of it on the box lol. he also told me that usually if it says performance cat its got less "stuff" in it or nothing at all.... now i dont know ALOT about catalytic converters but i dont think hes right

My opinion is that guy should not be the muffer business. Hi-flow cats have been around for a lot of years(replaced mine with a Hi-Flow CATCO in 2002) and the latest one do have a lot of improvements. I would talk to someone else.
