Default Catalytic Converter

My catalytic converters are completely shot.

After looking around, I finally found something that appears to be compliant with the California's emissions.

http://www.autocom.com/index.php?_a=...ductId=1955296

The question is, is it legal for me to buy and install this part on my car? What else do I have to do? Any paper work that needs to be done?

And finally, will this lower my back pressure or gain any HP?

Well, based on the link you posted, it has to be a "PC-1", as it is a "Passenger car with single or dual exhaust systems with one catalytic converter per exhaust bank." The word PC-1 is written all over the place in the link I posted. Also, the manufacturing numbers are exactly the same, both are 36009.

Are you sure it is illegal? I really don't want to pay $406 instead of $137 for a catalytic converter. I'm broke man.
