I cleaned out my CAI and then used k&n filter oil and the car ran like total garbage, took it off and cleaned it again then slapped it on and ran fine, i thought you were supposed to use oil on these? maybe not! input?

yes u are supposed to use oil on the k&n. as little amount as u can and still cover it. then let it set for a while to dry or drain the oil off. the oil in them will mess with your sensors if u over do it.

yea m8 if you don't let it sit and dry for a while after being cleaned and oiled it wont run properly, after you clean and oil it you should let it dry for a few hours

Yes, you have to let the oil dry for about 4 hours -- read the instructions ;-)
