can someone tell me if a 3rd gen exaust system will fit on my 4th gen? i have an 84 and a 96 am unable to check at the moment, im looking doing the exaust on my 96 its a 3.8 v6, i got it to save on gas over my 84 with a built 350. I found a guy with an exaust system from his 3rd gen that will give it to me for $75 its 3" back into dual with no muffler, has a cat but he said it could be replaced, i would maybe just delete the cat depending on how loud it is being that it doesnt have any muffler on the set-up, but im wondering if this will even fit? I think the only difference is the hangers which would be easy enough to mod.. but im not sure, any input?

 

Yes, go to Midas muffer and save yourself the DIY problems for little or no gain. My opinion.
