i have a 94 with the 3.4L V6 and i plan on getting new exaust on it, it is allready set up for dual exaust but on one side the pipe is broken off after the muffler. i want it to be loud but i dont want my gas mileage to drop alot because i was told some exaust can do that please give me your opinions.

 

Ive never heard of exhausts dropping gas mileage.? Check Youtube for sound clips, that way you can hear which one you like the best.

 

yea youtube is a good idea. i was just told that certain exaust systems were bad for gas mileage

 

no, the only ttime that is true is when the sound of the exhaust makes ur foot heavier

 

exactly!!!! my MPG went from 25/26 with the ION to 21/22 when i put the cat and catback on [8D]

 

yea i guess a loud car could definetly give me a bad case of lead foot, i just hope it dosnt kill my gas mileage to much

 

its all about self control..... which i dont have...... cuz im pretty sure after my car started barking like that my mpg went to like 2[]

well my car allready sounds pretty good and is not quiet, with the exaust that is on it now, but i want it to sound good and mean

 

Flowmaster sounds pretty good on mine to go with my high flow cat.
