hi, i was wondering if there is a way to tell what options my camaro has i read somewhere that some camaros had a Y87 option avalible and i belive mine has it since it has duel exuast and 4 brake routers. but i want to be possitive my friend told me that there are some codes not the vin that showed this on the car. does anyone know where i could find them? and get them decoded? mu car is a 1997 v6 camaro thanks for all the help

yes, either on your door when you open it there will be a white sticker or in the glove box.

the sticker will show a bounch of 3 didgit codes... look for the one "y87" or the gears " gu4 gu5 or gu6" its easy when you see the sticker...

[8D] if for some reason the previous owner removed the rpo sticker, the dealer can print you an rpo sheet from your vin # kurt

ok i saw the sticker on the side and yes it does have they Y87 package! wootz! but there are 5 rows with 11 colums each. is there a way i can find what the other options are?

all sorts of ways they are online at various sites so google gm rpo codes camaro or something. theres also a book called the camaro white book that has all sorts of camaro info by year. and the dealer can also tell you kurt
