What kind of ramps work on a 95 maro?
I've been trying to do some work on my camaro, but I can't seem to find any ramps that are low enough to get the front end up. It'd be much easier if I had a garage, but that's just not the case. Anyone have any names of ramps they've used for theirs? If you built your own, what are the measurements and what kind of material was used?
Thanks!

Do you already have ramps, or shopping for some? Regular ramps will work if you put a length of 2x10 wood down on the ground at the base to raise the nose of the car up before the tires hit the ramp. If you need more lift you can use two pieces and step them. I have a bunch of wood blocks in the garage anyway that I use for wheel chocking, jack stand blocking, etc. If you're shopping for one, they do make ramps that are longer with less of a radical climb. But they cost more than the garden variety ramps.

I just use a small floor jack to raise the side up high enough to put a jack stand under it and then go to the other side and do the same. Then I put the floor jack under the engine cradle for extra measure.
