Arrow Rhino Ramps: Yay or Nay?

So I've been debating if I want to pick up a pair of these Rhino Ramps. I hate jacking my car up on stands to work on it and would rather just use these.

I've heard good things and bad things about these....what are people's takes on this product?

Ok, i have a set of steel ramps, and i have never had a problem... the even held my trucks, with no problems... (putting on a lift without them is torture) I have never used the "plastic" ramps but depending on the quality, use, and user they should be fine... Thicker more solid plastics can fit the bill, but in the hands of an idiot my steel ramps wont hold...

I've just heard issues about these ramps like cracking and falling apart, but it seems that Ive found more positive things than negative

Rhino Ramps are great

Where did you hear this "information"? Did you hear it from friends who were actual owners, or did you hear it from someone who knows someone, that heaed about it, but never even saw the failed ramps?

This type of false information is all over the internet about everything you can imagine

I think a lot of times some says "hey that plastic looks like it could crack" then that gets turned into "I heard they crack". This is a saftey item so from a engineering point of you it would need a saftey factor of atleast 3 maybe 4. That would mean it is rated at 1/3 where the engineer thinks it will break. People think of plastics as the toys that had as kids or the dash in their cars. This is a composite pastic with add filler, my guess is fiber glass. Those ramp are a lot stronger then you would think. They will flex but they are not going to fail

DON'T ever overload them for more then what they are rated for but as long as your surface is basicly flat and you stay under their ratings your good. Rhino is is betting their company on it and they know it.
