wats up, what do i need to do to take off all the smogstuff off my 1989 5.7 tpi. would it mess with the brain?I have some headers i want to put on it. it dose not need to pass smog anymore.the car is stock,and i want to beef it up a little. thanks in advance!

 

your computer will have a fit. it will flood out like it's going out of style. i'm sure you can have it reprogrammed but, i don't know jack about it. you could buy some headers that are smog friendly. the only way to completely bypass the computer is to go carb and standalone distributor and most will tell you that you don't wanna do that. especially if this is a street vehicle. now if your gonna make a drag car out of it that is a different story. sick
