Default Summer plans--$1100

So first things first:
1. GMMG Inc Cat Back----$700 (only 3 More patient weeks!!!!!)
2. Monroe Sensatrac Shocks/Struts x4---------$110 (w/discount from work [sm=burnout.gif])
Is there an abbreviated way to do this? how hard is it for all 4 corners?

3. And the notorious: REAR END SLOP!!!
so i have been haunted by this problem and have taken the diff cover off twice to look for the cause, but only minimal luck. I know the slop is somewhere in between the side gears, and the hub...Somewhere in there it is causing a loud clunk and jerk in the rearend/clutch whenever the load is changed. Any ideas or should i leave this to a professional?
thanks in advance for the help guys
ready go!

yea about that. I have:
checked the yokes on the rear end side and the slip yoke into the tranny and theyre good.
checked the u joints. good.
when i jacked up the rear w/ the diff cover off, i spun the driveshaft everything but the wheels move untilit hits something to duplicate the sound that i hear when i switch from coast to accelerator. when the clunk sounded the wheels started to move, at first i though it was normal LSD play, but no. same thing when i turn the wheels, about an inch of rotation before it clunks and moves the d-shaft and the carrrier unit etc... any ideas?

Only so many parts in the diff and if they look good, I would start on the bearings. Pinion brg first.

i had the same problem with the clunking noise. it turned out to be the pinion bearing and it had been so bad it oblonged the race and i had to get a new rear end.
