that prom chip thats in it is for a 88 350 car would that cause my problem

 

If this has not been resolved; it sound like clogged CATS/CAT, my car and truck had the same problem and it was bad CAT on both. It was not my Camaro, it was my 2.0 Lancer and a Dodge Ram V8 but air-in/air-out is all the same no matter how may cylinders you have.
