Default Reman a/c compressor

Just bought a reman a/c compressor for my 92 RS v6. I put it in and noticed the a/c lines are different than the backside of the housing. The housing has 2 holes, 1 bigger in diameter than the other and one deeper than the other. My lines are the same diameter and have the same slighty raised mounting surface to fit into the depth of the holes. So i took it back and had them look up the numbers again and check another compressor out with the same numbers...got the same results. I understand that reman parts are fitted to work with mutliple applications but does anyone know of any adapters that are out there for this?

I also ran the a/c lines, and found them to be the same as I already have in the car. Its a Ready Aire a/c compressor bout through AutoZone.
Thanks,

Bobby

There should have been the seal kit that has adapters and instructions with the compressor. You compare a picture to the manifold you have and it tells you what seals and adapter to use.

Nothing like that came with the pump. I had to buy a bag of assorted seals. But what i relly need is an adapter for it. Any ideas?

Go back to Autozone and tell them the seal kit was not in it. These have been in the box with every compressor I ever bought.

Come to think of it I might have only ever used one reman compressor. If memory serves it was junk and I said never again. good luck with yours. Look at the pick and see if any of the picks look like yours.
